A website that brings in work, not just compliments.
Most business websites are brochures that nobody finds. I fix the foundations, build the pages people actually search for, and make sure AI answers name you too, so the site earns enquiries every month instead of sitting there.
Free 30-minute call, not a substitute for the paid audit · 3-month minimum, then one calendar month’s notice · 5.0 ★ on Google & Facebook
Technical fixes and page structure. Quiet months, the groundwork nobody sees
Rankings start moving on real commercial searches, not vanity terms
Authority compounds. Traffic gets steadier and cheaper than any ad account
Ranking isn’t the problem. Ranking for the wrong things is.
Plenty of sites get traffic that never turns into a phone call. These are the four faults behind almost every one of them.
Search now happens in two places.
Customers still Google you. But an increasing number just ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google’s AI overview who to use, and take the three names it gives them. If you’re not one of them, you never entered the running.
Answer Engine Optimisation is how you get named. It runs on the same foundations as SEO, so I build it into the work rather than selling it as an extra.
Traditional SEO
Ten blue links. You compete for a position, and the click is yours to win. Still the majority of high-intent search, and still where the work starts.
AI answers Growing fast
One answer, two or three businesses named. No second page to fall back on. Being named depends on clear service information, consistent details across the web, real reviews and content that answers actual questions.
The good news: the work overlaps almost entirely. Do SEO properly and structure it for machines to quote, and you show up in both.
Six areas of work, in the order they pay off.
Foundations first, always. Content on a broken site is money spent on something Google can’t read properly.
Technical foundation
Speed, indexing, crawlability, mobile, broken links, duplicate pages. Unglamorous and non-negotiable.
Keyword & intent strategy
What your customers actually type when they’re ready to buy, mapped to the pages that should answer them.
On-page optimisation
Headings, copy, metadata and internal links rewritten so each page has one clear job and does it well.
Service & location pages
A proper page per service, and per area where it matters. This is usually the single biggest ranking gain available.
AEO structuring
Schema, clear factual answers and consistent business details, so AI tools can quote you confidently.
Tracking & reporting
Calls and forms tracked properly, then one page a month: rankings, traffic, enquiries, and what I’m changing next.
Audit, fix, then build, in that order.
You’ll see the audit findings before you commit to anything ongoing. If the honest answer is that your site needs rebuilding rather than optimising, I’ll tell you that instead of billing you monthly around the problem.
Audit & strategy · Weeks 1–3
Full technical and content audit, competitor comparison, and a keyword map. You get a prioritised list of what to fix and what each fix is worth.
Fix the foundations · Month 1–2
Technical issues cleared, structure sorted, existing pages rewritten, tracking installed. Expect little movement in the numbers yet. That’s normal.
Build authority · Month 3 onwards
New service and location pages, content that answers real questions, AEO structuring, and monthly refinement based on what’s actually ranking.
Why SEO can’t be a one-off: a fixed site with no new content slowly slides as competitors publish and Google’s expectations move. The audit and fixes win you ground; the monthly work is what keeps taking it. If you want a one-off audit with no commitment, that’s available too, see below.
Fixed price. Nothing billed by the hour.
Start with the audit if you want proof before commitment. Most businesses go straight to monthly, because the audit is included in it anyway.
SEO audit
The full diagnosis and priority list, yours to act on.
Monthly SEO & AEO
The audit, the fixes, and the ongoing work that compounds.
Audit included free, £895 of work in month one
3-month minimum term · then rolling, one calendar month’s notice
Want local search handled too? The Marketing Package combines this with Google Business Profile management, content and email for less than buying both separately.
Best for businesses where enquiries come from search.
If nearly all your work comes from walk-ins and the map, start with Google Business Profile optimisation instead. It’s cheaper and quicker for that job.
“Impressive bomb-proof processes.”
“Steve’s great to work with.”
Frequently asked
How long until SEO shows results?+
Technical fixes can show within weeks. Meaningful ranking growth usually takes three to six months and keeps improving after that. Anyone promising page one in a month is either lucky or lying, usually the latter.
What is AEO, and do I need it yet?+
Answer Engine Optimisation is being the business that ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers name when someone asks for a recommendation. A growing share of searches now start there and never reach a results page. It builds on the same foundations as SEO, so it’s included rather than charged separately.
Can you work on my existing website?+
Almost always, yes, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or custom. The audit will say plainly if the platform itself is the ceiling, and I’d rather tell you that early than charge you monthly to No. On the free call I’ll take a quick look and flag anything obvious. The SEO audit (£895, included free if you go monthly) is the full technical and on-page diagnosis, with a competitor comparison and a prioritised fix list handed to you in writing. If you’d rather start there than commit to a plan, that’s a sensible way in. SEO stands on its own, but if you serve a local area the two reinforce each other, a stronger site lifts your map rankings and vice versa. That’s why the Marketing Package exists, and why it costs less than buying both. I do, and you approve it before it goes live. It’ll need twenty minutes of your expertise occasionally, the pages that rank best are the ones that sound like someone who actually does the job. Everything built stays yours, pages, content, accounts, access. Rankings hold for a while, then gradually slip as competitors keep publishing. There’s a 3-month minimum term, then it’s rolling with one calendar month’s notice, no penalty beyond that.Is the free call the same as the paid audit?+
